Businesses can purchase renewable energy credits to offset any dirty fuels they may be using in the process of doing business. For instance, power generation plants or retail electric providers can use REC’s to offset the electricity service they sell so that it is considered clean energy. Currently in the state of NT there are 392 Landfill Gas facilities selling this type of REC. These renewable energy credits are Registered and in good standing with the state of NT.

Currently in the state of TAS there are 2253 Landfill Gas facilities selling this type of REC. These renewable energy credits are Registered and in good standing with the state of TAS.

For instance, power generation plants or retail electric providers can use REC’s to offset the electricity service they sell so that it is considered clean energy. Currently in the state of NSW there are 498 Solar Water Heater (Deemed) facilities selling this type of REC. These renewable energy credits are Registered and in good standing with the state of NSW.
